It’s Federal Budget week!!
Apart from some tinkering with the Capital Gains and the Negative Gearing tax concessions, we’re not expecting much (no raise to JobSeeker or other payments, no extra funding for public housing), but we’re planning a small but strong response: we’ll be coming together on the morning after the Federal Budget, for a press conference.
We’ll be joined by our allies from the Adelaide Day Centre For Homeless Persons, and Grannies For Actionl, to respond to everything that is announced (and not announced!!).
We’ll be inviting the media to speak to us, but we’ll do our own videos and photos, as well, and afterwards, get coffee (our shout!!).
We’ll have lots of signs with us, and we’d love to have you join us!!
