Saturday April 26, 12:30pm-2pm
232 Main South Road, Morphett Vale (office of Amanda Rishworth, Social Services Minister)

It is almost 5 years since the JobSeeker Payment was temporarily doubled by the Morrison Government during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This lifted hundreds of thousands temporarily out of poverty, but it was not maintained, and JobSeeker plunged back below the poverty-line.

And despite Labor’s promise at the 2022 Federal Election that there would be “no one left behind”, job-seekers and others on Centrelink payments still experience deep poverty.

Albo may have forgotten his commitment, but we have not!

We are gathering near the office of the Minister for Social Services, Amanda Rishworth, to publicly demonstrate our belief that no one deserves poverty, and proudly show others in the electorate that we will speak out for the right for all to live in dignity, safety, and health, in this Federal Election, and in all those to follow!!

Please join us for this event, and for a free lunch to follow. You can stay for as little or as long as you like. We will also assist with organising and paying for transport if needed; just let us know!!

We hope to have a big group, to help convey the importance and strength of our message.

See you there!!
