7. JobSeeker is so low, people do not even have enough money to look for work (how do you look for work if you cannot afford to travel, or cannot afford the internet, or cannot afford interview clothes???).

13. People on JobSeeker have go into debt, to survive, which traps them into deeper and deeper poverty.
14. Things are more expensive, when you are poor (you cannot afford the better-value internet or phone plans, you are stuck with an older car that breaks down more often, and is more expensive to insure and service).
15. Being on JobSeeker harms your health, and the longer you are on the payment, the more you suffer, the more your health gets neglected, because of a lack of funds.
16. No one should have to go to bed, every night, stressing about money.
17. Everyone should feel like they are part of the community, like they can afford to participate in cultural and social activities.
18. A raise to JobSeeker means better health outcomes, as people will be able to look after themselves better, and so less strain on our health system.
19. $49 a day!! Who can live with dignity, who can look after themselves, on $49 a day???
20. We can afford it!! We can afford to lift everyone out of poverty!!
