Our members have been speaking to Labor MPs and their staff, nonstop, over the last few days, about JobSeeker.
This included speaking to staff from Mark Butler MP’s office on Friday, and speaking to Matt Burnell MP, at a streetcorner meeting in Salisbury on Saturday.
We will be speaking to Labor MPs and their staff, every chance we get.
We encourage all of you to keep pressuring them, every chance you get.
We need a JobSeeker raise. Immediately. To the poverty-line.
A JobSeeker raise, for everyone on JobSeeker.
No exceptions. No picking and choosing.
No one should be living in poverty.
(Not only on JobSeeker, but on any Centrelink payment – in a country this rich, no one should be in poverty.)
